A little further north of the Bay Area pricing gets better. When I was living in the East Bay I was paying $2,500. a month for a two bedroom townhouse. Now I'm up near Sacramento and I'm in a 3BR/2B house with a fenced in yard full of rose bushes and lemon and tangerine trees for $1,400/month. AND I'm only an hour and half from Reno.
