The whole "being kind to surfers" thing is quite debatable, as well. I suppose with a TGP, maybe ... but the general rule is to make a sale, any way possible. A lot of sites use the principle that, these free sites suck so bad that they'll sign up just to get away from all the bullshit. Blind links and things like that are almost necessary to get some good cash anymore, but, like I said, it all depends on the type of site.
