This is a great way for women to get some positive attention for the things we do well. Even if you're not a renaissance webwhore who does everything, so what? You may as well highlight your strengths, get some attention to your program/site(s)/skills, etc. You don't have to win or show your tits or your face to do that if you don't want to. Being a whiny negative snotnose is pretty counterproductive.

The people fronting the money should be the ones setting the rules. If you don't like the contest, start your own. If you don't have money to start your own, quit your bitching and go do some work. If you're such a brilliant all-brains webmistress, surely you can buy your own trip to Hawaii.

I may not be brilliant or beautiful, but I'm proud of what I do and I'm entering the contest! You don't need to be "perfect" (whatever that means) to try.
