i guess many other less successful webmasters than kayla reading this board would need money for a comp or a script and can barely afford their bandwith bill and they see a well established webmaster racking in 100's or 1000's $ in minutes because some stupid bitch ran over her car.

idiot - asking for private donations OBLIGATES someone to say yes or no. If someone's in financial trouble themselves and doesn't wany anyone else to know about it a private message puts them on the spot. i don't do that to people - obviously you do, cause your'e a piece of shit.
A gfy thread like this allows people to read it annomously and decide for themselves if they want to get involved or not. If put on the sopt later about why they didn't donate - one can always lie and say they never saw the thread. it's harder to lie and say you missed a private email or icq.
