I lost 50 pounds in 4 months when I was on a diet. It was really hardcore but I really wanted to do it. I used to be 190lbs and dropped to 140 and I'm back to about 160 now where I like it.
Diet comprised of very little carbs and cutting out a large chunk of meat. Using eggs, lentils and rice and tons of fruits vegetables. Basically I cut out everything that tasted good and replaced it with large quantities of low fat/carb foods to keep full.
Couple the above with lots of cardio work at the gym and the weight was gone. Now I just try to eat well.
Congrats on the 20lb loss Brad. It's a great feeling too!
