I cashed my first check right away because I didn't even trust that it would go through (I trust no one).
I did get in the habit of not cashing checks for a while. I had an assload of Click Cash checks sitting around because I was to busy to go to the bank. Right around that time they started bouncing checks. Needless to say I hold nothing for more then a week now.
