I used to throw 'em up on freehosts, but there's been so many I can't even find most of them anymore.
I'm starting to host the front pages on my server, (under a forwarded domain) then hosting the galleries on a freehost. That way the opening is nice and clean (and I can always find it) but the BW is low. Also the domain name sticks, so the surfers don't know the difference - if they bookmark they'll get the main page rather than the gallery.
