This may or may not have been asked and answered before, but I've always wondered. When linking to a sponsors website why is at the bottom of the page they have a link to their main website but it doesnt include your ref id?

Example...
If you go to:
http://www.mikesapartment.com/main.htm?id=yourid

And scroll to the very bottom of the page where it says "webmasters" it links directly to nastydollars.com and not http://www.nastydollars.com/?wm_refer=yourid

So why is it that most programs do not do this?
