Gemini, I agree.
Muff, find out what a UNION is first before you post.

Like I said, I'm in SAG. About 80% of don't even work. So why be in a UNION? Because when we do work they take care of us. We get full dental, medical, union representation if we are mistreated. And they make sure we get paid well enough that we only need to work a couple of times per year.

"People work on the adult internet because they want to be individuals and create there own ideas that can't be done in the real world. They want to work whatever hours they want, they want to try any new ideas that they have.
The minute you let someone regulate that like a government or a "UNION" it's over."

Yeah so? You think a union would regulate that? Where did you hear that? It truly is sad to hear you talk that way.

A union can be set up anyway you want. We are the webmasters. The union is being set up by a webmaster. I think he has a pretty good idea as to what is required of webmasters to make a union more of a help and not a hinderance.

And dues (like in SAG) should be based on percentage of income through union work. Example: If you post to union TGPs, and make $30k from revenue generated from those particular TGPs throughout the year. At the end of the year, you pay a small % of that 30k to the union. That way, the small guys pay what they're worth, and the big boys pay what they're worth.

I would be interested to see what benifits he has in mind. Dental, health, etc... And what type of union representation he has planned. It would cost a lot of money but the more wwebmasters you get in the better.

Don't take my rant personal Muff
