I was reading this thread and I did not take Aliens post as being harmful or misrepresenting of Vivid...he was just generalizing and yamming......not to be taken serious.
Alien is creative, and has always found more cost effective ways of getting things done...that comes from being a self starter for many years.
I would hate to know this little thread which started on a light note is gonna cause a breach between the team of Alien and Leslie.
I think you all need to take this off the boards, allow us to thank you both for the drama and entertainment, and COME TO the realization that everything is gonna be fine in the morning.....

I like Alien and have always admired hsi work, character assasinations are pointless.
Leslie you hired Alien, you all have to learn each others ways and know when to react and when to laugh something off....
So you both got alot of work to do, because there is not question Alien will produce at the office and you will get what you paid for.
Do not judge him from the boards, judge him on performance.
If he fucks up, fire him.
If he pleases you, allow him to spew diatribe, he has done this for years and its all part of his charm :-)))

I agree with most of this....EXCEPT....
The main reason that I can't stand working for others is because I got tired of having to supress my opinions as expected by the various companies. You are there to do a job and they expect you to do it their way with no questions asked.
It does not matter if you can offer them a way to build a bigger and better mousetrap. They leave that up to the supervisors to brain storm those ideas and the sups are not the people who deal with this shit on the front lines every day.
I respect Leslie but it blows me away that she, as a "supervisor" of the not even mentioned company, would come to a public forum and attack the employee. If it was her own company and that is how she wanted to handle things then more power to her.....But Leslie does not own Vivid....as far as I know.
