Holy crap, I'm originally from Gainesville, Georgia. I lived there for the first 20 something years of my life. I hardly ever hear of anything happening there. I've never been arrested, but friends who have been to court in Hall County have told me they are pretty lenient there. He'll probably just get several years of probation and hefty fines or whatever the minimum is.
