If I could bring my cats and birds, and things that will be highly valued in another 400-2000 years(like my dads dentures and my moms gallstones), then heck yes I would be on that time machine.
Ooooh! I'd also hide a barrel of cognac from Napoleons private reserve in a mine somewhere. That stuff ages magnificently!
But it would be my luck that 1000 years from now they will have brought back prohibition and I'll only be able to unload the stuff by donating to a museum as a charitable and cultural gift.
