I have prosecuted and it was interesting but too many prosecutors accept the fact the defendant is guilty. They are driven to convict and are measured by conviction rates.

Being a defense attorney would be a decent job if you could pick your clients, that is not always the reality. You take them as they come and need to zealously defend even if it means having a guilty person acquited.

Lawyers do not get to play King Soloman they get to play the hand they are dealt. Very few lawyers work less than 12 hours a day, it is challenging work if you are going to do it well.
