The Pledge Of Allegiance Case
goes before the Supreme Court Today.
The issue is to decide if the reference to God violates church and state.
I say have 2 pledges...one generic makes no references to any deities..the other a fill in the blank deity version..th esimple fact is freedom of speech even protects religious speech ;)
So the teachers should push the secular version, but if a couple of children feel they need to say the other version they should have that option.
NOTE I said the teachers should push and teach the secular version.
