TNG doesn't even come close to deep Space Nine!! TNG is sooooo bland compared to DS9 it's not even funny. TNG is a damn good show and has some great episodes like Inner Light, Darmok, Best of Both Worlds parts I & II, and more but DS9 blows em away in terms of quality stories and actually depicting things as more realistic with conflict, moral dilemmas, and real chanacter development.

DS9 Had like an ongoing plot and that ruins star trek IMO.

Every episode of TNG had a self contained moral lesson and you did not have to watch them in order or even see any of the otehr episodes.

How can you forget all the sick holodeck episodes from TNG. At least they went on away missions and got to shoot on location for holodeck shows. DS9 didnt move... It was just sitting there. Never had enough adventure in that show, seemed kinda stagnent to me. Always the same characters untill they introduced the dominion.

(Hell, I've still seen every episode of it)
