My credit card has iBill syndrome

Recently there's a lot of fuss about iBill "refusing" a lot of signups with a lot of people being denied memberships. Apparently this is affecting signups.

Me...
- I have never been overdrawn, ever
- I have never loaned money, ever - that includes mortgaging and hire-purchase
- I have never charged back any money, ever
- My card has never been stolen
- I have never had this problem before

Well I just wanted to buy something online from whsmith.co.uk... and the fucker gave me this. I double checked the cc number and issue number (01), but nothing. This is very strange.

"Dear (me), Thank you for choosing to shop with us. Unfortunately we are unable to process your order because your credit card can not be authorised by our bank. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

I set a £100 ($140) daily withdrawal limit on my card. The purchase was worth less than this. There are a lot of e-shops out there fighting to stay alive, but in this case, it seems that they are doing so well that they don't even need my business! Fuck them, from now on I'll shop at Amazon.
