its gonna take 2-3 days maybe even longer if this is your 1st time working out, it's not an "injury" by any means, working out causes your muscles to rip and tear, so you're going to be sore for a while afterwards until the body can fix/replace the effected muscles. Stretch REALLY good before and after workouts and also stretch before you go to bed and in the morning when you get it, it won't cure it but it will help speed the recovery process along
