That truly saddens me...there are so few of the originals left alive
It has already got to the point that if we have collections of blues, jazz, whathaveyou...those collections are COMPLETE with no chance of building on it, simply due to the artists no longer being here.
My Fiance and I have a huge catalog of music (mainly Blues, Classic Rock, Classical, International, and, well just about everything you can think of).
I tried to contribute with my Hip-Hop, Old School Electronic Music (Wendy Carlos, Ussachevsky, etc not just the ones mentioned above) but that pretty much stays in my room lol. Now no more from John Lee Hooker.
I don't know...just saddens me.
