I think there are a couple of gamerworks places but I don't know where they are. We don't do games. ;-)
Don't let them fool you... Columbus is one of the top tech centers in the country. All the big banks and several insurance companies have main headquarters here as well as many other companies. Our unemployment rate is normally several points under the country average and this is one of the few places these large companies will take entry level positions to most jobs.
Unlike say NYC where you MUST have experience for most positions or start in the mail room. I imagine its partially due to the colleges etc located in this area.
And yeah the weather CAN s*ck but we have our fair share of good weather.
Now if you want to live in a s*ckhole, move to Cleveland or Cincy. One measures their winter snowfall in FEET not inches and the other is one of the worst blue law cities in the country. lol
Our suicide rate is NOT high either. Neither is the murder or crime rate.
