I saw it on Friday.
And by saw, I mean walked out halfway through and got my money back -- only the second time in my life I've done that. I was looking forward to seeing the movie, and I tried my best to like it, but I was dissapointed.
The plot was all over the place, the acting was terrible (which suprised me...Ron Perlman has done some great films), and everything seemed way too contrived. The one liners and attempts at humor were horrible. And worst of all, one of the heroes is voiced by David Hyde Pierce...better known as Frasiers annoying, whiny brother Niles. And he was just as annoying and whiny in this movie.
Definitely not worth the money, in my opinion. I wouldn't even say its worth renting when it comes out on video. Maybe...MAYBE I'd consider watching it if I was drunk, and it was on T.V. Fans of the comic will probably love the movie; but it just didn't do it for me... or any of my 5 friends that walked out with me.
