The modern work ethic is a myth. Pride in one's work is gone.
Damn. We might as well be french.
I suppose the only solace we can draw is that if you do one day own your own business, you'll get to be on the other side of apathetic employees who see nothing wrong with doing a half assed job and then quitting when they are needed most.
