The Easter Ham is the tradistional dinner. I guess the large meat-packing companies of the world got together one day and divided things up. "Thanksgiving & Christmas... that's for you turkey producers. On Easter we'll push ham, and all summer we'll sell beef for the barbecue"
I guess not enough people are up for roasting an Easter rabbit, so the ass of a pig was the next logical choice.
I see no connection between the "bunny" concept and the resurrection of Christ. However, if while I'm eating my chocolate bunny poops, some tv network decides to run "The ten commendments" I will watch it. I love that movie for some reason.
