I would figure you would keep your cat fed well gf. Guys tend to let them get hungry more often. Our cat brings a mouse to us, demands the back door be opened and he roars out to the yard. spits the mouse out and chases it for a minute or two again and then saunters back inside.
He is a house cat period! Loves the AC and his food being close by all the time!
