Get a hold of ElvisManson, he runs quite a few sites, also give Lens and Wizzo a heads up on this. I'm sure they've been scrolling through the threads, but have not yet posted any opinion on the matter.
Getting the sponsors to back this up is an even better idea than to get the big hitter TGP's in the game. 99% of the big hitters will laugh their ass off, while watching their traffic increase. I just received an e-mail from The Hun as a reply to my pointing him to the TGP2 thread, he said he thought it's a great idea, his traffic will increase because surfers will be looking for better quality/quantity. I have to agree with him, it's a consumer's market, BUT, that doesn't mean that we can not adjust the rules. The TGP game has been the way it is now for years, and greatly thanks to the big, established TGP's running more or less a cut-throat game competing with each other.
I'm not saying that TGP2's won't eventually compete with each other, hell, competition is good. But this doesn't mean that we can't all work together to establish the phenomenon. Getting the sponsors in on this will also force the big TGP's to follow, as they would eventually be left with little or no submissions. So if you're in touch with any sponsors, give'em a heads up on this and try beating the idea into their heads, 'cause if we all work together we can expect a sizeable increase in income and a decrease in bandwidth costs.
