Pete...You seem to have done many things in your life...Im sure you have seen somebody dying of Lung Cancer?
I would think you would understand bieng that know what it's like to watch somebody die a slow death.
So what were your thoughts when you try to watch them breath with tubes down their throat, gagging on saliva while gasping for breath?
Yes we are all going to die someday...but does it have to be a painful 6 month ordeal that could have been prevented?
Ive known a few people who have died of lung cancer...the funny thing is that I never heard "Im glad I was a smoker..you got to die someday"
My great Grandfather smoked cigars on a daily basis and lived to around 85 or so. So what?
There are always the lucky ones. What makes you think you are going to be one of them?
You are a numbers type of guy...look at the numbers man!
Do you have unprotected sex? You are going to die someday anyhow. Do you believe in immunizing children? They are just going to die anyhow?
Im not trying to be a judgmental prick. Im posting out of concern. Please do not take this as an attack on your personal sense of being.
It's just that something so awful can be prevented so easily.
