I have friends that lost both parent sin Nam and came here with their grandmother.
I have Korean freinds whos family is still in Korea.
Sure these people arent against mixed marriages, but given the chance we KNOW the troute they will take, its only natural.
You are using one or two experiences to dictate age old practices, and thats silly.
My girlfriends highschool was 75% asian, all her friends were mostly asians growing up, they all came from war families and the like.
How columbians and Japs act where you are, must be different than the camps of war torn families here.

U are missing the point, every culture has it's bad shit, u think latinos are all happy to mix? Blacks? Asians? Shit, times are changing, and most new generation Asians are rebelling against their ancestor beliefs...that is what I am saying. I know Japan is very strict with mixing, they are one of the purest races around...but again, there are people who go out of that norm. If you read back I told u I know Black- Asian, Colombian-Asian, and Spanish-Asian, another latino- Asian. I also have a friend in Germany, half korean half white, married a white man, and she couldn't be happier. Has a 2 year old BEAUTIFUl girl, and is looking forward to having more kids. Her mixed brothers are all married- mixed wives and have kids.
I'm not trying to argue, you can't generalize an entire ethnic group...life is different all over, people are different all over... I respect your view, and I have my own view...
