Yep, way back in the heyday, before anyone heard of Dell, Gateway was the techie's dream machine. They had competent people, 1st quality components and a very low failure rate of delivered machines. If something did fail, no problem cause they sent a replacement overnight and then you sent the defect back to them etc.
Now, I wouldn't touch those fuckers with Boneprone's dick
Seriously, if you need a reliable business class desktop then you need to be buying Dell. I buy maybe 10 of them a month and I'm happy. Just bought two new Dell servers last month and they simply rock.
For home use, I'm a build-it-yourself guy though.
