they are the fucking ones that signed up. war isnt war without deaths.
The fact that men .. sometimes kids, signed up in the forces and end up being killed is not "unusal".

The "unusual" bit in this instance is they did, correctly, as they were ordered under totally false "excuses" which have changed almost weekly, in an attempt to justify this action. In my eyes that is a criminal matter.

Had this been a "legitimate" war in the first instance, the US would have the support of many countries. The problem is that this "war" is "illegal" under a few treaties which have been signed by many countries, including the US.

The other factor which has been evident for some time and lately getting blatant is that the majority of US forces are not equipped to deal with anything other than "force". It may come as news, but there is no way "force" can change the opinions of the people of Iraq (or elsewhere) - that is just met with opposing force and more bitterness and "hatred" of the US.

You can't expect a 20 - 26 year old soldier to "manage" a crowd, create calm and have any "relationship" with the people of Iraq who have clearly got tired of the US occupation saying "how it is".
(BTW.. They have also seen a lot more than the "coalition" acknowledge exists and have *very* good reason for some "hatred").

The response/solution from a senior military officer was respond with "controlled force". Hell.. that's a joke - he clearly has no basic concept of "pacification" of masses either.

The ultimate "blame" is with the US Administration who actually have fuck all to do with Iraq and who "used" the United Nations (as well as abusing them), to instigate this adventure. That "godly" leader of the US when asked who he is passing the buck to on the 30th June had no idea. His only comment being that the UN were working out some deal - pathetic!

I have full support for troops - it is not their fault they end up in the shit because of extremely bad and agressive judgement on the part of the US Admin. I hope some international indictments come out of this - and I'm not talking about Hussein.

It's about time the US stayed within US borders and started attending to what needs done in that country and stops behaving like a load of fools in other places with the idea this is some "God's gift" to the world. There is no credibility and the track record is a total disaster.
