speaking as someone who is trying to give up - heres some things that help me
- slowly decrease the amount daily
- recognize what triggers off the need then change it
- try to reduce stress in life
- realize your going to gain weight and find a substitute, deal with it later on
- quit for yourself, not your lover etc. because when they are gone, you'll only start again
- only smoke half the cigarette at a time
- start moving to light cig's and weaker brands
patches do work on some, not me but in a year I went from smoking 3 packs a day to now I do around 2 or 3 cigarettes a day.
mind you my crack habit has increased (*just kidding)
