Do a little research on them and you will see. You can start by reading this Thread, http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ub...ML/007707.html or you can refresh your lightningfree's gallery 500 time and count the number of time it's being redirected.

First of all, I doubt that they redirect 4% of the real traffic coming into their servers, otherwise every tgp out there would ban them! Now if you are counting the cheaters that try to fuck the free host at every turn, then maybe you could come up with 4%. I've really had my eyes opened concerning the free hosting biz over the last 30 days in helping out with a freehost that posts here at gfy, you would not believe how many people try to take advantage of these guys and stick it to them in any way they can. I can start to understand why a freehost would need to skim some of that traffic just to stay above board with the monthly bills. I keep seeing all these freehosts come and go, and to be honest with you the few that are represent here at gfy seem to be doing the best that they can to make a living, just like all of you are. If you don't like the fact that they may be redirecting foreign speaking traffic, then don't use them.

One note to freehost's, I would suggest that you add something to your policies that states that you have to right to redirect any traffic that you deem unprofitable/unusable. If you do redirect anything extra above and beyond the normal 404's that are found because a file was deleted for being too big or the wrong format then let the user know that at the beginning. I doubt that many people here would be all that upset with the fact that a small % of the traffic was being redirected if they knew it up front, and if your headers/footers were small enough that they could make a buck themselves.

Anyone that uses a freehost should understand that they are not taking on the risk of a huge traffic bill at the end of the month by using that type of host, and should expect to give up a fair share of the clicks that are generated from a gallery.

Sorry for the rant I will get off my soapbox Have a good one!

Tim
