The fashion for head towels in 1991 was gray cloth with black spots. You'll note the new tapes show gunmen wearing white towels with black squares. Very 2001 (actually a retro look to the 1972 Munich Olympic Games - the 70's are big everywhere). You couldn't get into a disco, much less a "Hate America and Burn Her Flag" parade today being a gray with black spots towel head. Trust CNN.
