I've got a 1986 GTi that I'm in the process of rebuilding from scratch. The plan is to drop a VR6 into it once all the body mods are done. I've been working on this one for a year now, with no end in site.
I've got a 1999 GTi that is bone stock. Not too sure what my plans are for this one. It just sits for the most part.
Last week I stole my buddies 1996 Jetta GLX VR6. He spent the past year modding it, so I don't have to tinker. He hadn't Dyno'd it, but says it should run about 250 HP or so. That R32 weighs less, so you'd probably take me in a race...but I smoked a new 330ci the other day. Not bad for a $5k
These are just the three I have now. Have had others and will probably have more in the future. My daily driver is a Honda Accord...but I've got the R32 on my mind.
