This has nothing to do with ego Pete. I didn't write that copy, I borrowed it from the flag button that another webmaster made, and the buttons and banners were thrown together hastily so we could get the links up on our sites and HELP OUT THE CAUSE.
Do I see any sort of link on your site yet? C'mon man, your 40k/day of surfers might offer a few bucks up for disaster relief too, right? Is this time really about bitching about such trivial things or is it about taking action? I'm not an American, but I think it's rather UN-American to criticize those that are trying to help.
Yes, I'd like to see the adult industry looked upon a little bit more favorably, I'll admit that. But this isn't about that, it's about putting up a bannerlink that will get people to give up a few bucks here and there for the greater cause.
