I wondered that myself. Part of me would like to see a new modern structure put back up there that would be comparable to the WTC, but then part of me thinks of those that didn't make it, and there should be some sort of memorial there.
Maybe they can find a way to accomplish both. A new world trade center built to a proud height to show the world that nothing can topple freedom, and incorporate a memorial theme into the complex. Thoughts?
