Problem is how is one supposed to distinguish between racist comments and harmless jokes? Psychic knowledge? If you say "We should just nuke all ragheads" - how the fuck am I supposed to know it's a harmless joke by someone I don't know rather than some bigoted comment by a fucking moron?
People have been making horrendous comments, then backing them up by saying "Oh, it's just jokes." or my favorite "It's how I cope with my anger." They end up looking like a bunch of assholes to those that don't personally know them. Granted, they probably don't care either.
Anyhow, doesn't really matter. I remain convinced there's a number of racist fucks on this board, but that's basically the case anywhere in this world. The shit my 85 year old grandparents say shocks the hell out of me sometimes.
