That's what ignorant people do. They know that they can't win their argument under normal circumstances, so the use opportunities like this to further their causes for them. Makes them look good to some, but it shows them for what they are to many others.
There will always be a few like him. I could say something similar to that end, oh, like : "I blame our high unreasonable property taxes for this attack!
