I also had that weird bug. On saving changes in my setup page, screen would show 500. Then every subsequent command would bring me to the sign in page (over and over) and I would get an SSI error in place of ttt-in.

I trashed the contents of my cgi data directory (after saving db file) and did a fresh install. Then loaded back old db to data directory and voila, all is well.... Weird ... Hope we'll find out where this is coming from as I have a feeling this won't be the last time I see this bug.
