HUmmers are Hummers, H1 and H2 are easily comparable as they are basically the same car, arguing over the differences is one thing but classifying them as separable as corvettes and cavailiers isnt the right comparison.

H1 and H2 are 2 different models also.
Different frames, different engines, different exteriors, different interiors, burn different fuel, different brakes, and have different designations 'H1' and 'H2'. Built in different assembly plants. And those of use that have owned both can tell you, the both ride and drive totaly different.
How different does something have to be, for you to be convinced?
And ok, comparing corvette to cavalier may have been extreme. Try it with camaro and corvette. Both are chevrolet sports cars, but yet they are very different. Same with the Hummers.
