I knew working in comics and animation would pay off. I'm working with at least 4 top games companies and more on the way. I should be in the producer's chair this time next year.
What's even cooler is that you can be a small time video game developer but as long as the game is cool and fun you can make a fortune.
All the hype in the world means shit compared to whether the customer is happy.
Just ONE happy customer and you're off to glory. Reason being it's the kind of entertainment where the 'people' participate and have an active voice. Worth the time and investment as long as your creative team stays themselves and not some dumbass focus group dorks.
