rhizome, Iraq did not want to monopolize Kuwait's oil, they wanted access to the sea. To follow, they wanted Saudi. Saudi knew exactly what was going down, and was more than happy to have the U.S. put a stop to it. The U.S. isn't responsible for starving Iraqi's, Saddam Hussein is. When you see small nations being attacked and the citizen's raped and pillaged and stripped of all their worldly possesions, (remember Saddam and Milosavic)it's fine to say, tsk tsk isn't that sad, but if the U.S. steps in to put a stop to it, they are nothing but power hungry, war mongering bastards.
