You could tell the actual poor people from the scammers pretty easily. Poor people would buy milk, bread, canned goods, meat, cheese, etc. Assholes stealing from the government would use their vouchers on Coke, candy, and junk food, not exactly necessities that tax money should be paying for.
I like the WIC program here in Indiana better. Single moms and poor moms get vouchers that can only be used for certain necessities like milk, baby formula, cereal, juice, etc. They can't even cash in for cereal that's full of sugar...it has to be a halfway healthy cereal.

Yeah, you're right. A poor person doesn't deserve a candybar or caffiene but they do deserve to have you analyzing their food intake.
When I was a kid we were on food stamps for awhile. My mom would drive to a town half an hour away so assholes like you in our small town wouldn't know about it. Not exactly a necessity that a poor person should be paying for, all that extra gas, time away from home after working 12 hours at a fucking drive-in burger joint . . . but people like you make it necessary.
All the toys, trips, clothes, gameboys, televisions, and extra shit the upper middle class and higher showers on their children aren't necessities either -- but those same assholes will sit around griping about where the little bit of tax money they pay goes and voting to cut programs like free lunches etc. that help kids. Ugh.
