if u are a big L3 client tell them to send a fax.. where the explain the problem.

means is Uplink 1 -> donw i have a backup ( at least one )
but in this case was is a problem from one uplink.

Level3 is one of the top uplinks .

8 hours down is bad i know.
but think about LWI, LWI is a new ISP,
the Microsoft network was few months a go
80 % down for 6 day;s .. was a nameserver problem.
yahoo, altavisa was also down a while a go for few hour's....
if u need 100 % uptime get more servers ...
and btw:
I GET WHAT U PAY FOR
( pay a ISP like akamai about 5 times u pay for LWI ) then u have 100 % uptime ...
