hes either dead, or, more likely, hidding somewhere like indonesia or the sudan.
either way, afganistan as it was prior to s11 provided a great training ground and rallying point for terrorists, so it is in the worlds best interests that the taliban are removed, and something resembling a democratic, friendly, g'ment is put in place.
