... I wish I could help you, but as you sound like and expirienced movie guy I in fact have a question to add here:

how do you split big movies into little files, like if you have a 20MB big one (MPEG) ... how do you make 20 1MB little ones (MPEG) ... I tried this with mPack, I can split them with no problems at all ... but only the first is viewable ... and all others come up with sound only ... do you know any software that works better ??
