They ask you what you do for a living, etc and write up a small report.
In any case - Contrary to most, I would actually consider the $350 a day option. I mean if the $500 option is that "undependable" or even a "maybe" in your mind. Perhaps it's not benefictial to be greedy. Better 75% of something, then 100% of nothing.
