Yes you can. It can be a big help, or a fucking disaster. Don't fall in love with a layout if you site is built on trades. You have to keep it fresh, and keep the surfers clicking links.

If you use a script like UCJ, CJ Ultra, Clickzs, etc etc you should label your links. Then you can analyze the stats on your link reports, and see what the fuck people are clicking on. Maybe your favorite catagory draws flies, and the shit that makes you sick pulls clicks like crazy. If that is what your link report tells you, you can alter your site layout to cater to the freeloading bastards, uh, I mean loyal bookmarkers.
