An email address or domain name shouldnt make a difference.
Having said that, I can't imagine ever getting a paypal account simply for convenience sake. I'd rather wait on a personal check in the mail and wait for my bank to clear the funds.
Or western union, vastly superior and worth the fee for the security and reliability and traceability.
