Had a great time when I went to Egypt. With the terrorist situation I would think twice about going anytime in the near future. I was able to talk with and spend a good deal of time with some locals. From what I saw most white Americans were not well received. I sat down for dinner and drinks with the bar owner and a white canadian, and it was all good.
Talking to women is not to be taken lightly except maybe in the tourist areas. Be careful about who you approach. I almost got arrested for solicitaion
