If I ever move back to Nort America with hubby I would seriously think about Canada. I have seldom been anywhere as nice (scenery, people and over all evironment) as Ontario (we fell in love with London, Ontario).

My husband called it 'America done right'. It was the combination of Amerian and British culture with a dash of french that made it so appealing.

on the remmberance note: At the UK Remembeance day ceremony(can anyone tell me why everyone else has it on 11 Nov - armistace day - but the USA has it on the 12th?) someone had a sing that simply said 'The young are greatful'.

That somes it up for me. That generaton (of many nations) saved the world and we should thank them before they are all gone.

My grandfather (a WW2 vet) died last monthand I have to admit to being bit sad that he hadn't died just a week or so earlier and then he wouldn't have gone to his grave knowing he WTC had happened and that he had seen the start of yet another war.
