Assuming a "traditional" war, I have to agree. Once the Japanese take Hawaii, then they can move into South America as well for their launch stations. From the east and north are also several key logistical military bases, including the nuclear sub base in Esquimalt and that kind of thing. It wouldn't be pretty, but I don't see the US holding out for long, ESPECIALLY considering their high foreign population percentage. Think of all the sleeper cells already inside the country.
